The two main characters in this novel both had secrets and kept things hidden from each other. At times I felt like they did not know what they wanted in the relationship and all the secrets made it hard to trust each other. I enjoyed this story at the beginning however about half way through Christina really started to annoy me and it was a chore for me to finish this book.

I listened to the audible version of this novel. Lacy Lauren and Jeffrey Kafer did a good job with this story however it was a bit confusing at times listening to her voice as Alex and then Jeffrey’s and it took me awhile to get used to it. I would have preferred if this narration was a duet.
