I agree with several reviewers, things went downhill too fast. We know that because the author kept reminding us the day and time for each short chapter. After what the wife experienced (minutes after the EMP) and still acted like she did, it was pretty frustrating. To leave a place, more like a compound that you could defend, have provisions, for your house closer to an urban area like Baltimore, with no other apparent ties…..Probably not the most logical move.
