(spoiler) the MC is an old do gooder with a great personality. there were a few sloppy scenes that i didnt like but the introduction of an arena was all I needed to perk right up and think to my self “now its about to get good”… it didnt and my heart was broken at the missed opportunity. The MC went a little out of character and killed a few people that stood no chance which would have been forgivable but the culmination had zero decent fights he didnt even play around when he should have and the family reunion was just OKay. the final battle was fast and not nearly as good as it should have been since it was the grand finally of the book. I was thoroughly disappointed. his OP armor wasnt OP, his OP magic wasn’t OP the MC is OP to anyone but a decent villan. the fights are kinda BS, he smashed his face and threw him so far that the bad guy went into the clouds, MC meets no inbetween fights that produce any real action. MC meets final fight that is kinda matched up… fight should be good, Nope Grandpa gets dribbled like a basket ball and accidently wins with a bad wound gets rushed off and saved. so many open doors that the Author gave cool names to just to open them, rush through the room labeled Awesome and slammed it closed wiped his forhead and says that almost got you didnt it… it was total blue balls. Just the head, means just the head in this story. the MC magic is to OP to cause anyone less than the character that will swat him like a fly get swatted like a fly. tons of talent to work with in other characters but they dont do anything but win once or be the boss and get rescued so they can go home and maybe teach or couch potato. im sure every non talented writer like myself wishes they could have written the fight scenes. its like Dakota let his nephew write the action scenes. still reading the rest of the books as the story is interesting but the hostile incounters need to be written after watching some WWF, OngBak, Road house, and Baki Hama and lay off the 1 punch man. the fights seem like a bunch of Medusa fights without Perseus.
