After the first hour or two listening, I was thinking this wouldn’t be a series where I purchase book 2. By the end, I was interested in characters and story. The beginning seems a bit whiny and overly self reflective, but it lessened throughout the book and while the whiny self doubting nature of the character is one of my least favorite aspects of the book, the overall store is interesting and worth listening to. I’m getting book 2 right now.
