I’ve been hearing a lot about this book but couldn’t bring myself to read, mainly because I was told it was a stand alone but leaves you wanting more. Well, all of that is true (I think). As far as I know there isn’t a sequel and I can honestly say I don’t want this story to end. I loved this book so much more than I could ever have anticipated. It has everything, interesting magic system, character depth and development, action, heartbreak… the list goes on and on. I will be recommending this book to everyone I know. Side note – the narrator is really good too! His interpretation of the characters and story were perfect and he has a lovely voice (in case you need more motivation to listen).
