I just finished the second book and cannot say enough amazing things about how the story progresses, The characters progression is huge but makes sense, John really makes me care about not only the characters but their Cards. Wolfe’s and Shel’s decks are so different, but they compliment one another so well. I can’t wait to see where this goes from here.

Also, as a game master or storyteller, I really want to find a way to bring this world into a RPG system, I can’t recommend this series enough.
