Many reviews try to say this is so similar to TV series Firefly. OK… it’s a group of misfits flying around in a spaceship taking on odd jobs to make a living. That’s where the similarity ends!! PERIOD!
That being said, it is an entertaining story line, character development is good and the characters are likeable. It’s well written and doesn’t get overly complicated with techno-babble. I did enjoy listening, although trying to get through the entire omnibus set in one shot gets to be a bit mind numbing. Much better if you break it up with other things. 85-ish hours of the same story line was a bit much for me. Although I know I will listen to it over again in the future.
Narrator does an excellent job with different voices and tone inflections.
