This book is entertaining, has lots of action, and the characters seem to have enough life to them to add the right amount of depth. It is an origin story for the group, so I guess it makes sense that they have to go to several locations to get all of the various things in order to create the Omega Force. I finished the book over the course of a weekend, so I didn’t feel like I was wading through a slow book. Also, I will be continuing this series. I also find it interesting how the author sets the tone for the series in the way that the main character comes up with the name of their team. The goal of their enterprise is Omega Force and the series. Dalzelle doesn’t break the fourth wall when doing this either, which is pretty amazing the more I think about it.

The narrator Paul Heitsch does a great job narrating the story.
