Is it tasty? Yes, yes it is.

I was extremely reluctant to purchase this book because of the cover but, as our English teachers used to tell us, never judge a book by its cover. The ratings for this do it justice and it is a worthwhile purchase if you enjoy fantasy literature and role play games. Some of the references might be lost on those who have not played RPGs but I think they could still find the humor and excitement in reading it. Neven Iliev has constructed a world that I want to play a character in.

If you are still hesitant to dive into this book, don’t be. It is worth the price and you will likely find yourself doing the same as I and purchasing the second book halfway through. It is going to be a painful eight months waiting for Neven to finish the third book in the series but I will assuredly be pre-ordering it!
