The MC is definitely a diabolical genius but that doesn’t mean he’s God. I’m really impressed with how well thought out this book is. I mean the MC isn’t omniscient and he gets it wrong a lot, but the way the author fleshes out his observations, ideas, and schemes makes you question if the author isn’t a diabolical mastermind himself. I found myself constantly questioning whether the MC is good or evil or whether I liked him or not. But I honestly gave up and just enjoyed the chaos that ensued. Jeff Hays is amazing as ever
