I came to this series for the mil-sci-fi aspect but every “side” adventure like this enthralls me. Cry Wolf is no exception and Jeffrey Kafer’s dulcet tones pull me to the end of the story as soon as I start it. I’m always surprised when the end credits come up because the story and narration have sucked me into the Empire Corps universe.
