I feel this started slow and was a challenge at first, but I really do feel it was worth sticking with. The characters have so much more depth than I expected at the start.
The ending was not a surprise or got you. Anyone with any small inkling of sense will assume it’s close by the time you get to the climax of the story.
Here’s the thing I stuck to it because the heroine…is sort of me. I really want to recommend this to my students who hide hurt behind humor.
