This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

The story never became stale and kept things fresh. The Protagonist is a character who you feel absolutely bad for because of the events that occur. The problem with it that though is you never really feel empathy for him. I don’t know if it is in how the narrator portrays the characters or the story doesn’t bring it up. The story in whole is great to hear and you try to piece together who did it. You want to pay attention because there are subtle clues laid out throughout the book to help you along the way. Even though the story is only 3 hours long, it feels longer and I think it is in part due to the great storytelling by Jeffrey Kafer. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys murder mysteries.
