I found this book because the narrator did a live stream on TikTok narrating the book and it was so good, I knew I wanted to pick up the book.

After hearing the story again, I enjoyed it and am excited for the next book but Leola did get on my nerves on some parts. The secret that still isn’t fully revealed dragged a bit. How everyone didn’t know who she was except Roan was kind a ridiculous. I’m going to predict Roan is actually a good guy and her family isn’t. I’m hoping by the end of the trilogy Leila has more of backbone and stops getting pushed around by everyone in her life.

Overall the story was entertaining.
