I like this author’s writing and was excited for the story. Overall I liked it, but for me it was a slow start, took me over an hour of listening to get invested into the character’s story. It has some unexpected twists and turns and I liked that I was unable to see where the story was going and be surprised by some reveals. Narrator did a good job with voices and story. Even though it is not my favorite book by the author, this was an enjoyable and interesting listening experience.
