The first couple hours of each book are bad. was ambitious with the premise but the author either did not do enough research or just did not understand their research.
The narrator sounded like he was whispering Jewish the time and they had to artificially raise the volume of his speech. Then that bled into when the characters were trying to be quiet and got some reason when the characters were supposed to be louder it sounded like the same widower with artificial increase in volume.
