I related to Paulines character because I too lost a child. That’s why I started listening to this book because her perspective on the loss of her baby was consistent with my perspective. However, it is a wonderful story particularly for people who like historical fiction and it was interesting hearing about the horrors of a pandemic in 1918. Highly recommend this book if you listen to it
