The idea for the story was good, I was really pretty interested at first, then I noticed the hero was a narcissistic rage fueled moron, I held out hope that some of the other characters would be in some way well rounded or at least mostly sane, it was not to be.
This group wanders the blasted wasteland murdering anyone ugly or somehow less than them, while completely in the throes of fiery rage.
By the end I was hoping the silver queen would win.
There’s plenty of blood and guts, any sex (consensual or not) is creepy and over analyzed to death.
I got the audio book free with membership, so at least I didn’t waste a credit on it.
The narrator was great as always.
