Interesting but . .

I think I read that Huss is going to revise these stories—narration, at least. It’s not terrible, but the speed with which the narrators talk was distracting enough for me to adjust the speed between the male and female speakers (she is too fast, he is like a turtle).

The story is compelling, the cliffhanger is frustrating, but overall, I’m still interested in what is going to happen. I’m not convinced that Asher would be motivated to hang on to Grace. Grace does not seem compelling as a love interest tbh. I’ll probably only acquire this second half at a discount or a two-for-one.

Bottom line: Cheap seats!
