I enjoyed this book. The characterization is very good and the storyline is different. The author is doing series with the same characters and different outcomes; each book is self contained novel. This should highlight strengths and weaknesses of the personality types and is an interesting and promising format
This story focused on loss. The book takes place post a nuclear attack and follows several groups of survivors and the events that effect them from an uncertain future to finding their next meal.If you like survival / dystopian fiction this a good choice
