My first book I’ve ever read was what everyone knows the author for “Project Nemesis”, however my Kaiju obsession didn’t stop there, I ended up reading “Project Maigo” and the prequel to Nemesis. After exploring other novellas from Jeremy like last years “The Divide” a novel I liked and was faced paced however I felt was pale in comparison to his nemesis series and this book which I read in August, it made it from my mailbox and done within two weeks.

Tether was an impressive improvement. Starting off in a nighttime scenario, I got a weird “Carnosaur” vibe (1984 written by the late John Bronsman) however it was no dinosaur on the loose story. Saul FaceTiming his wife during a blue lightning in the sky turns out to be his wife. I tend to like this trend, in Stephen Kings “Bag of Bones” the main character loses his wife within the first few pages or even in Tom Clancy’s “Without Remorse”, my point is that it skips the bs and gets right into the development of character. Then we jump ahead to a female character Rain. No memory and glowing eyes, similar to Maigo in the Nemesis saga (there are more similarities coming up) Boston (see, Kaiju love Boston since 2013, hehe) is terrorized by Kaiju!! Yes, another Kaiju story. It seems we’re in a mid sixties “Kaiju Boom” and Robinson is the Toho, certainly not a bad thing. Without spoiling too much just pick up a copy here on Audible, I just started my second read through, thankfully someone is reading it to me on long drive commutes.
