It was definitely more erotic than I expected when I purchased it but I didn’t mind it as much as I thought. It took awhile for the dark subject matter I got it for to come into play but when it did it packed a punch. I liked that it was treated as a human issue and not as something that creates a line in the sand between what’s considered normal and ill. The characters were stubborn which I liked because they weren’t pushovers which seems to be common place in the genre. Theo was my favorite. He had the right amount of weakness due to being in love but strength from it as well. I seriously enjoyed the narrator. He was especially delightful reading for James and Tess.
