The story was written in, and takes place in, the 80’s, during the Cold War. It’s interesting hearing the tale from that decade and perspective. It’s a decent listen. I like when my “cheap horror fiction” teaches me things like how a submarine runs, what life is like for the men aboard, and new military terms.
