This is the first book in the Cruel Secrets Duet, a Dark New Adult College Romance. This is a great and captivating introduction to Caspian and Willow’s forbidden’s story. Their chemistry is intense and passionate. The world building is dark, intricate, suspenseful, and enthralling. I liked the angst, the secret society, the drama, the secrets, the mystery, and the intrigue. There is a lot going on in this story. This is an excellent best friends to enemies-to-lovers romance. As expected, this story ends with a big cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to reading Cruel Promises, to know what happens next! Alexander Neal and Sarah Puckett did an outstanding job bringing these characters and this story to life. If you like dark romance, this series is for you. I highly recommend it. #PFPAudio
