Instant Heat is a cute little story about Rae and Griffin. This book is told from dual points of view. Rae was out with her friends when they made a bet that she couldn’t have a one night stand with a random stranger. She hooks up with Griffin and it was an instant connection.
Griffin just moved to town for a new job at the fire department. It turns out Rae’s brother works at the same fire station, and her brother does not like Griffin from the start. Griffin is recovering from an accident that separated him from his best friend/firefighter brother, and he’s having a rough time with it. He blames himself.
Can Griffin save Rae when she needs saving? Will he realize it wasn’t his fault what happened to his friend? Will their relationship work with her brother? I really enjoyed this book, and can’t wait for more in the series.
