The narration is deserving of 5 stars. Kevin O’Brien does a fantastic job of placing emphasis and voice inflections appropriately. The reason for 4 stars for the story is this: The first 1/3 of the book, the biographical part about Marx and Engels, is worthy of 5 stars and so is the last 1/3, which speaks of the many villains and dogmas spawned by communism. It’s the middle 1/3 that’s tough. Very tedious account of how communism seeped into churches and their fight against it. Beware!! The author is certainly catholic and you will be administered a deluge of quotes and recitals from many different encyclicals and other church documents and officials!! I found the middle part very cumbersome. But it does offer many insights on communism. I recommend it.
