the good: decent character diversity, good enough reason to enter the game world, okay plot.
the bad: the MC spends the entire book preparing to get a dragon. MC also spends way too much time complaining about his lack of control over his life. not a fan of whiny self doubting characters who somehow have the willpower to challenge the gods and stand up to evil wherever they find it.
the soundbooth team also adds music during certain scenes to increase drama and tension. I didn’t mind it, but it does distract.
