I am really enjoying this time travel series. Not only has the author created an original idea in the ‘Runners’ who go back to change the past to affect the future and ‘ Time Rangers’ who travel back to stop them and protect their own time but the method of time travel via a Nexus Point is very cool. The story, historical characters and events are so well researched and thought out I could hardly put this book down. This chapter in the series does not have as many time jumps as the first book but the adventure the Time Rangers spend back in 1776 is so fast paced and interesting I hardly minded. I got a kick out of the author choosing two of my favorite characters from that part of history in the story. I myself have an ancestor who was a member of the Queens Royal Rangers mentioned in the story. I look forward to K. Pimpinella’s next Time Ranger book and would welcome additional stories through time with these characters. Andrew Wehrlen is an exceptional narrator of this series having a broad range in his character voices and performances. I’d highly recommend this book and series to other readers / listeners.
