There are a lot of inconsistencies and plot holes,, as well as repetition of actions that were stated back-to-back and just worded in different ways. Also, there were some major similarities with Twilight in certain spots of the storyline, which made it feel like a rip-off (or is this what fan fiction is because I’ve never read it). And the narrator’s Scottish and Romanian accents lacked experience. Also, with Echo’s twin’s name in the title, I kept waiting to learn the steps (13) of how she finds her way back to her in the veil, but it never happened. That would’ve been cool. However, with all this said, the premise was good, so the story wasn’t boring. It just felt incomplete in several ways.
