the story was fine but the aggra ating trend of authors now to play w cliff hangers to force onward to the next volumes is unprofessional for an artist. to write a book that ‘s excellent encourages the reader to demand more is an artistic and professional way to write. cliff hangers are a cheap way to sell not a good way to write well.
