The first thing that brought me to this book was the LitRPG genre. The second was the length of the audiobook (longer is better right?), and third was Jeff Hays. This is an award winning combination.
I was amazed at the abilities of both the author and narrator. Shemer Kuznits does an amazing job spinning the story with wins and losses, adversity and comradery, crafting and settlement building. Crafting and settlement building are my favorite parts of LitRPG, and this book is on par with The Land series in that regard. As for narration…it’s Jeff Hays, the man is amazing. I’ve never been disappointed by a book narrated by him. I’m pretty sure he can raise the rating of an audiobook just by his name and voice being attached to it.
Ultimately, you will not be disappointed by this one. Cannot wait for the story to continue!
