A decade ago, I would have said that this is a very implausible plot line. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. When introduced to the characters from widely disparate lives, I couldn’t imagine how the author would be able to bring them together. And then he does. What results is a harrowing, and probably fatal, clash, for all involved. I’d love to tell you how it happens, but I think that would spoil it for people starting to or thinking of reading the book. I will respectfully allow you to be surprised as it happens. The author draws us into the lives of each of the characters, each struggling to make sense of his and her lives, and makes you interested in them. The book is a fast paced thriller centered around people desperately trying to make sense of their lives as they spin out of control. (It’s hard writing a review when you don’t want to reveal ANY part of the plot line in order not to spoil it for potential readers!!!) I enjoyed this book very much. It’s really easy to listen to and didn’t have any gaps in the action. I look forward to listening to another book written by this author.
