Getting immersed in this story is easy and delightful. Time will pass and you will feel the ebb and flow of the story, able to foresee certain events long ahead of time, but in this case it builds expectation rather than disillusioning you from the story. Well written, my only complaint is the completely unbelievable pace the main antagonist moved. In about three days for the protagonist, the antagonist managed to, wrest control of a city, recruit militia, train militia, hold a rousing speech, train specialized soldiers, wipe out two cities, kill a god and do much more. The time dilation gimmick simply didnt withstand the tsunami of movement the antagonist was able to do in the same amount of time it took the antagonist to eat a meal.
