I gave it 2 stars rather than one because the overall conceipt — what if a mimic, through a fluke of the system, gained a unusually high levels of intilect — is a good one. That is a funny idea. I was impressed at how thoroughly bad writing could take a good, funny idea and turn it into a dry, boring story. Also it semes pretty clear the author has no respect for women, and is agressively chauvinistic. Don’t get me wrong, I think a good light hearted baudy romp is great. This is not that. It’s just gross.
