couldn’t get through it. if you’re looking for a sweet love story with a happily ever after, you will not find it here. the synopsis mentions that the love interest is sick, but it is revealed in the first few chapters that he dies very shortly after they finally get together. for me, that makes every sweet and happy moment unbearably sad. I’m unable to appreciate the sweetness of these moments knowing they are ultimately devastating.
