I wanted to believe that it would get better…. but, the story is written as though ordered by the publisher to be done — start to finish — in 36 hours. Full of trite, pop-UFO culture memes, quantum leaps of time-travel, fake science and cliche characters. The narration is like a hold-over from the TV “Dragnet” cop show…. Sorry, it was all I could do to force myself to listen all the way through…. 🙁
