Road House starring the cast from Cocoon.
I’m only about halfway through (what seems to be) a decent story. But, when the narrator speaks as the main character (who is supposed to be in his 20s or early 30s), he changes his voice to high pitched and crackly – like he’s either an extremely old man or an awkward kid going through puberty. Half the time I think it’s the grandpa talking.
I realise that everyone is praising Kevin Peirce, tho, so maybe it’s just me (but it’s really really annoying).
