the world Hutchins builds is interesting and the overall plot is good, but the constant emotional abuse from fae regarding the FL’s past, threats of physical abuse, and a sex scene where the male is soooo big that they have to stop and heal the woman is just so unnecessary. it breaks the overall plot repeatedly. then there’s the childlike reactions of the FL; I get that she has trauma but seriously, grow up. Read the contract. think about consequences.
