This could be a really great book, I think the writers just need advise from a more experienced sci fi/fantasy writer. Too much time is wasted on characters reactions to weirdness. It’s the third book the characters should be used to weirdness by now. Also the characters just lack intelligence. Charlie is supposed to be a smart engineer that designed a space ship but you wouldn’t know by his actions in this book. It’s like they don’t utilize knowledge gained earlier in the book or previous books. Very frustrating.
