The narrator is just too much, very melodramatic. Mr. Stifel has some good voices/characters. But the emotions are overdone and the 17+ year olds sound like they are 12. It grates on my nerves every time Eric talks. The writing is “young adult” at best and would be a quick read over a weekend — I may do this if I find the books at the local library. But I cannot get myself to continue this one.
