Considering this is the third book in the series I’m sure all the readers/listeners know the quality of writing this series has. Before I was even done with the first book I ordered the second and third…and then devoured them all (and going to start all over again the second I’m done with this review).
The skill in which this series is written falls nothing short of creating a bone-deep satisfaction. And let’s not forget Joel Leslie’s narration, which really immerses the reader into the the story. It’s really a match made in heaven (there really are not enough words to be able to fully expires how much I love this series and these characters.
Alec and Cronin as the continuing lead characters since book one is exactly what I was hoping for! I don’t know how many – if any – will be written about this couple and their world, but it would be an instant buy if there were. There may not be another threat like in this book for a while, but there’s always more. This book is the worst case scenario in terms of enemy strength, so I hope the next (if there is) is the one facing a more emotional battle. I really hope to see more of everyone, including Alec’s dad, who keeps getting worse and worse it seems. Besides, they need their wedding and to renovate.
