I’ll be honest.. I found the storyline here to be much more confusing and convoluted than the first two (which in general were easy to follow). Even after finishing, I’m still not entirely sure I know what happened. But ultimately, I don’t care. I’m so in love with Carl and Donut and this whole concept that it doesn’t even matter. And he introduces a bunch of new amazing characters! And even if I don’t fully understand parts of it (which in his defense, he fully warned us about at the very beginning), it still has all the humor, empathy, and epic af battles that made me fall in love in the first place. Hail to the Princess!
