Such a fun story! This had all the things I love about cozy mysteries but condensed into a shorter version. I loved the length. It was exactly the right length for prepping for my own nerdy bookclub. I also loved that it was a male hero rather than the usual heroine—just a fun change for the cozy sub-genre since so many cozy heroines, much as I love them, tend to blend together into a similar voice. This voice was a refreshing change from the norm. The narrator was excellent. And I loved loved loved the nerdy/comic book aspect and all the fantasy/sci-fi/superhero references. Including Castle which is none of the above but is also one of my favorite shows. Completely up my alley. Can’t wait to listen to the next one. Even though I’m more of a DC fan. ?
