Illusions That May by Eden O’Neill is an enemies to lovers high school romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kasi Hollowell and Gregory Salinas. The book is not a stand-alone and is book two in a four-part Court High series.
This book does come with a Warning: “This enemies-to-lovers, high school romance contains some dark themes and light bullying.”
This is the second book of Eden’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I got hooked from the first book and can’t wait to see how this story plays out. I love the friendship that is blooming between December and Ramses.
The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn’t a surprise since it’s the second book in a four book series. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Court Kept to be released on audible so I can get more of December’s story.
Kasi and Gregory did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like enemies-to-lovers, bullying romance, or romantic suspense.
