It’s hard to imagine Kevin Pierce’s voice narrating anything other than apocalyptic fiction, but I’m game! If my EOTW book is from a male perspective, I’m disappointed if the reader is not Mr. Pierce. He’s always spot on and has the ability to turn a mediocre story into a good or great one.

This story is interesting in itself, and it only benefits from the narration. Joe Branch is solid guy with no family and nothing to lose who decides to risk a cush job to save those who aren’t so fortunate after a global conspiracy spreads a deadly virus to lower the world’s population. This One World Government then dominates the remaining population by controlling their lifeline—the vaccine that must be taken religiously to stay alive.

It’s an interesting take on the genre that focuses on the cause more than the effect of the apocalypse. I enjoyed it.

I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review.
