It’s amazing how some people are triggered by the mere existence of kids who have questions about their gender. I mean as for stories with elements involving trans people, this is about as mild as it gets, but it is just too much for some of the snowflakes out there that Brad’s little brother wants to wear a tutu and take ballet classes. Yeah, that’s what they are complaining about.

I mean it’s not as if the main characters do not commit wanton murder, which you pretty much expect in these books. But put a sweet liked kid named Mike in a dress and folks start getting the vapors!

OK all that said, this is pretty decent Black Ocean fun, as always. A bit more on the murdery side than I prefer but that’s JS Morin for you. If you’ve enjoyed the other Black Ocean books you should enjoy this.
