Hello Fellow Readers!
This was my first LitRPG book that I ever listened to, based around the mechanics of a virtual reality video game! It was also my first experience with who has become by “FAR” my most favorite narrator and voice actor of all time Travis Baldree! This series did not disappoint for several reasons!
I have read all the books up to Gilded Ghost and am posting on this particular book, as it is the first in the series and I would like you as readers considering this book and/or genre to get a review from someone whose combed through the series rather than speed-reading or listening to only a single chapter.

Travis Baldree strikes again! His performance truly encapsulates you and makes you lose track of your surroundings, of time and simply engulfs you in this mental realm of adventure, chaos, happiness, struggle and intelligence! His ability to make SO many different voices that are so distinct, both male and female is so impressive! You commonly find yourself completely forgetting that this is ONE person narrating all these voices perfectly on que. His a master of his trade and a credit to the narrator occupation! Thank you Travis for delivering us with another great performance!

Kyle Kirrin was a name I never heard before but once I finished this first book, I knew I’d never forget his name again. This was the PERFECT book and series to introduce me to this genre and lit a fiery passion for the genre and this particular series. The MC (Main Character) is WELL designed and his development is absolutely amazing, his life story and what has lead him to where his heading is unique. I love the side characters as well, each with such in-depth personality that compliments or opposes the MC perfectly and propels the story in unpredictable and exciting directions! Their development, the world’s development just astounding! Kyle’s writing makes you wish there was such a game, even if it were not a Virtual Reality. Truly this is series is a treasure and a MUST read!
Last but not least…Thank you for the character “Frank”, truly his a uniqueness to this story unlike any other!
