So the book is a time shift from Sword of Light series, it feels the same in one too many ways. I was not a great fan of SoL, but I can see if you liked that series, you will probably like this book.
Personally, I can not recommend this…there is something broken with SoL and there is something broken here. I would like to hear a different narrator just to see if that helps. Maybe its the constant dismal attitude. Maybe its the logic breaks in decision making that just upchuck the mind. Maybe its the hidden motivations of every character, with nothing really explained…even though the author spent time and again to explain it…partially.
Save the credit, wait for the series to be released as a complete trilogy/duology..etc. Its too short for the cost.
