What an amazing concept to a dungeon creation. And there are enough D&D monster references to please even the most hardcore, been playing since Gygax first created the D&D Handbooj, player.
I will admit, the voice of Carl was very unappealing. I thought of Carl as an almost nerdy 23 year old and then this voice of what sounded like a 40 year old pro-wrestler began narrating and I almost turned the entire thing off after chapter 1. Thank goodness Princess Donut talks.
I ended up loving the book and am off to listen to book 2 now.
