From the start, this was a odd and unique dungeon crawler litRPG, what with a spurned jock and a prima donna cat as his partner but for all the hilarity that ensues as they delve from one floor to he next, facing unimaginable difficulty, only to overcome them with creative and oddball strategic maneuvers. The story elements are more than jocular exchanges, Matt Dinniman also manages to include many poignant situations and encounters as well. Even the few instances of low-brow jock humor comes off so unexpectedly that one cannot help breaking out with some loud chuckles so, fair warning, make sure you’re not listening in church during your pastors sermon.
Jeff Hays’ performance is fantastic throughout.
